Artist's Comments

I found a pretty snail at work and decided to test the theory about how snails, because of the slime they make, can apparently crawl across the edge of a razor without being hurt. And y'know what, it's true!

So, I can definitely say that no animals were hurt in the making of this photo. Don't worry.

while we look into the mirror
we shall burn and die...
we watch ourselves turn to dust...
don't be shocked
face the truth
for the truth shall not face us
but our face will see the truth

Life a question, answered by death.

and I thought it was a ESCAGRO in preparation...(french snail...) or Marie Antonette in reincarnation.

Ha... Yeah.. Snails seem to be able to live though oh most any thing. Well... other then salt. o.o

This is a great photo. The lighting is good, the snail seems full of its self, mocking us because we can't do that… Damn the little thing…
